I am fully qualified in Animal Care with a Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care in Merit grade. This
was a 2 year course which included practical work as well as scientific written work.
Before venturing into my own business I worked at a zoo for 2 years as an Animal Technician in their
discovery centre maintaining enclosures where their exotic animals were housed such as snakes, tortoises, lizards, spiders
and insects.
Previous to this I worked at a pet visitor centre as an Animal Carer for 2 years. Maintaining
the enclosures of pet animals such as rabbits, rats, mice, tortoises etc.
I have also done voluntary work at an animal sanctuary and animal boarding establishment.
